In this elementary-school-level lesson, students will explore, defend, and possibly revise their personal views on whether recycling should be mandated in schools. Students will analyze the pros and cons of mandated recycling and learn about the impacts of recycling alongside like-minded students. Finally, students will have an opportunity to revisit their previous views and share with their classmates by participating in a Take a Stand activity.
