We are excited to unveil a new and improved Street Law Resource Library!

Many of the changes made are in response to helpful feedback we received from you, our enthusiastic Library users.

You asked for…

  • Easier access to resources without a checkout process.
  • Improved search and filtering options to better identify relevant resources.
  • Easy access to previously downloaded materials.

We’re happy to deliver these features and more in the new Resource Library.

Below are answers to common questions, as well as information about what has changed with the new Library update.

Thank you for trusting Street Law, Inc. to provide high-quality curricular materials for your classroom!

Why am I being asked to make a new account?

Accounts created prior to April 8, 2024 are incompatible with the new Resource Library platform.

As such, if you have not used Street Law Resource Library since April 8, 2024, you must make a new account if you wish to download resources.

You will not be able to see which resources you downloaded from the previous version of the Resource Library. However, once you make a new account, any materials you previously downloaded can be downloaded again.

What has changed on the new platform?

Simpler Account Creation: To create an account, we only require that you provide your name, an email address, and a password. If you want to provide additional optional information, you can. These details will help us keep you updated about resources and opportunities that are most relevant to you. All information we collect is subject to Street Law’s Privacy Policy.

Simpler Checkout Process: You no longer need to “check out” to download resources. Logged in users simply select the desired resource and hit the link under “Downloads”.

Improved Structure and More Robust Search Options: A new search and filtering system makes it easier to find what you’re looking for! We’ve also reorganized our resources into helpful, intuitive categories such as resource type, topic area, grade level, and more.

Track Your Favorite Resources: If you want to keep track of materials you have already downloaded, you must save them. To do this, hit the “Save Resource” button located beneath the related resources section in the sidebar. Saved resources will appear in under your account profile for quick access.
