This U.S. Supreme Court case tackled the following question: Does a federal law banning truthful, non-misleading radio and television ads of lawful private casino gaming violate commercial free-speech rights? Can the government differentiate between different forms of gambling activity when regulating commercial speech?

It was decided on June 14, 1999.
